My friend Carl challenged me to reproduce a pulsing tiles thing he made in Flash. So here it is. I took the lazy approach and did it all the DOM stuff with jQuery and the look/animation with CSS. Which means only browsers that support CSS transitions will see the animation (FF4, Safari, Chrome). Good fun had by all.
Warning: if you stare at the tiles for more than 60 seconds you become a zombie under Carl’s control! …guhhrrawr…yes…snorkl…
